We're a leading herbal certifier offering 3 certification schemes for: Organic Certification; Herbal Medicinal Product Registration; Food Supplement Compliance (if not marketed as a medicine).

To label your supplement as “organic,” you must obtain organic certification from an accredited certifying body (such as the Soil Association or your local authority):

* Submit a completed application form (We will send you by email) and contract to the certifier, including details about your products, production processes, and any product labels.

* Initial audit/inspection: An auditor will verify that your processes comply with organic standards, the soil of planting your herbs must be provide for inspection.

* Address any compliance issues identified during inspection and submit corrective actions if needed.

* Receive your organic certificate once all requirements are met. This process typically takes 10–12 weeks.

If your supplement is intended to be marketed as a traditional herbal medicine, you must :

* Complete the application form and submit it with:
* A technical dossier covering the quality of herbal ingredients.

* Scientific evidence of safety, quality, and traditional use (minimum 10 years of traditional use).

* An expert report on safety, prepared by a qualified individual (doctor, pharmacist, toxicologist, or registered herbal practitioner).

* Draft summary of product characteristics (in any languages).

* Mock-up label and patient information leaflet (PIL), following best practice guidelines.

* Submit your application by email to us. The evaluation process usually takes about 180 days if all documents are valid and complete.

If your product is a food supplement rather than a medicine:

* Although there is no formal registration required in the UK, but you must ensure compliance with the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 and related laws.

* It is the responsibility of the manufacturer or importer to ensure legal compliance, including correct labelling and permitted ingredients.

* An application form, samples and soil from origin must be provided.
